Academy Art & Frame Company is excited to announce that we are having Art Classes at the Gallery. Kim Costello is someone who believes in encouraging beginning artists of all ages to express themselves. For this reason, it is inspiring to have award winning artists willing to share their artistic passions with others. Please check out below the different mediums and groups that are available.

Presenting "Macbeth"

Six actors can recite the entire dialogue of Macbeth… and trade characters for each scene to prove it!

Audience participation during this theatrical performance ensures that actors are unable to plan ahead. This performance will be held on October 30th from 5:30-6:30. This is a free event and everyone of all ages are invited to attend!

This Arts Month, the Pikes Peak Arts Council and the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region invite you to explore the incredible talent of over 70 regional artists of all disciplines. 719 ROCKS!

719 Rocks! is a community project that is meant to inspire and connect people in our community. We want to help spread the connectivity and are offering a free workshop to anyone and everyone who would like to join. Come paint a rock and deposit it anywhere in the community. Photography Workshop:
Exploring and Engaging the Foundations of Photography

This is a series of workshops for novices to explore using your camera and improving your photos. There will a mix of instruction, Q & A and some hands on. Topics for each class will vary and include: shooting modes, camera settings, composition basics, some legal issues, editing basics, overall workflow basics and more. The goal is to answer these two questions: “What do I see that captures my attention?” and “How do I best take the picture?”

Class Dates: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays starting September 5; meeting
at 4 - 6 pm
This is an ongoing class but not consecutive. Class can be started at anytime.
Cost: $10 per class, 1st class is free

Peak Digital Imaging Society Meeting

October's Meeting is Oct. 26th 7-9pm
This meeting will be the 3rd Competition of the year and our annual business meeting.

The Competition has 3 categories: Open, City Reflections, and Cycling which will receive the Dave Horn Award. You can submit up to 3 images per category, cost is $2 per image. This competition is judged by the group.

We are pleased to announce that Peak Digital Imaging Society, a local photography and digital art club, will now hold their monthly meeting here in the gallery. The group meets 9 months out of the year (no meetings in August, November or December) on the 4th Thursday from 7-9pm.

The group is open to all ages and all skill levels. They hold 3 meetings that are Competitions, 3 that are mini workshops, and 3 speakers from the digital world. There are no dues, it is a free club.

We are looking for teachers to teach classes for the summer!
